No ship can compare to hororen OBVIOUSLY, but here are some thoughts on other Mankin ships...

otps/endgame ships

Pailong x Jun

• This is as close to another OTP that I have for Mankin ships. They are fucking in love and there is nothing anyone could say to change my mind. They're super in love and they absolutely fuck!

Ryu x Lyserg

• As far as endgame Lyserg ships, this is it. Ryu has NO idea how gay he is, but man, he meets Lyserg and HE IS IN LOVE! Lyserg obviously takes a while to reciprocate (he's too busy fawning over Yoh), but by the end of the series, he 100% does.

Tamao x Jeanne

• These girls are the cutest, sweetest lesbians. There's so much cute content of the two of them, both in the manga/2021 anime and in Funkuro artwork.

other ren ships

Obviously, the only endgame ship for Ren is Horo, but I do appreciate a lot of other (non-con) ships. you know. as a treat.

En x Ren

• There's nothing quite like a father who chains his son to a dragon sex chair and pretends it's completely normal. Aside from the blatant child abuse......I just can't with this. The non-con vibes are fucking STRONG here and I AM OBSESSED!

Nichrom x Ren

• I'd prefer it if Nichrom were a little older but Nichrom's obsession with Ren and his desire for revenge are powerful motivators for non-con. I looooove the toxic dynamics between the two of them, and I desperately want Ren to let Nichrom do whatever he pleases with him as an act of making amends for his actions.

Mikihisa x Ren

• Not many people are into this ship and I definitely didn't get it when I first encountered it, but when I started to think about how Mikihisa wants to be everybody's daddy, things just kinda fell into place lol.

Hao x Ren

• Hao's so horny for everyone, especially those he wants to convert, but Ren is one of the people he wants most (only behind Yoh and Anna frankly) and boy does he want to fuck him. AND HE SHOULD.

other h0nry ships

Marco x Lyserg

• The fact that Marco straight-up grooms Lyserg in canon (and it's treated as okay) is fucking crazy. The grooming needs to be More. Marco should fuck him. Again and again. The one scene where Lyserg is wearing a nightshirt that looks fucking giant doesn't help with this lol.

Horohoro x Men

• I generally ignore anything post the main series because hororen is the OTP and anything other than that is unacceptable, buuuuuuut Men is definitely a lil slut just like his father. With Horo visiting often (because he and Ren are in love), Men develops a huuuuge crush on Horo and he doesn't hesitate to take what he wants. And as much as Horo's in love with Ren, he can't resist a sexy little Tao seducing him, even though he knows he should 🥴🥴🥴

A couple other h0nry ships that I'm not actually invested in...

• Hao x Yoh, Hao x Anna and/or Hao x Anna x Yoh

general thoughts & headcanons

Just a few thoughts on some of the other ships. These are more headcanons than actual ship preferences.

• Yoh and Hao are polar opposites, especially in regards to sexuality. Hao got All the Horny and Yoh got none, so Yoh, despite being the object of many crushes, is aro/ace - or at least demi - and Hao is a pansexual slut. (Also, Hao desperately wants to have a threesome with Yoh and Anna.)
• Ren and Lyserg both have HUGE crushes on Yoh when they first meet, but Yoh is both oblivious and doesn't reciprocate. Eventually, they both move on to their respective boyfriends.
